Best tips and tricks for Pokemon GO Sprigatito Community Day

Do the following to flourish at the January 2025 Community Day event in Pokemon GO:

  • Play with friends. This will not only make the time spent more fun but also give you additional spawns and allow you to exploit the event bonuses to the fullest.
  • Use Star Pieces. The event already has a 3x Catch Stardust bonus. If players around the world can unlock the 6th level of the Fidough Fetch Global Challenge and unlock the 4x Stardust Bonus before the event starts, and if Niantic allows for stacking, you can gain up to 18x Catch Stardust from every catch when using a Star Piece. Combine this with Dialga's Roar of Time Adventure Effect for the maximum benefit.
  • Use Pinap Berries. With the 2x Catch Candy event bonus in play, you can score four times the regular amount of Candy.
  • Utilize your Pokemon GO autocatchers. If you can't engage directly during the Pokemon GO Sprigatito Community Day, make the machine do the hard work. You are almost guaranteed to end up with a shiny.
  • Note that there are no 4-star raids. Not only can you not get Floragato directly but you also lose out on the 30 minutes of additional spawns around the Gym. Therefore, if you miss the three-hour window, you will miss out on the biggest Community Day advantage.
  • Evolve Floragato. Even though Meowscarda won't be the top meta even with Frenzy Plant, it is an improvement from the non-legacy version.
  • Get the Special Background. If Niantic is removing the 4-star raids in favor of these, at least get your time's worth and pick up one or two of these.
