Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock teasers include beloved Mega Evolution debut, shiny Gen VII, and more

Niantic shared several Pokemon GO Ultra Unlock teasers recently, hinting at a handful of debuts that are surely going to put a smile on trainers' faces. These include a much-beloved and long-requested Mega Evolution, a shiny variant of the Gen VII Roly-Poly Pokemon, and a Gen IX family.

We discuss all three teasers below, detailing when trainers can expect to see them and everything we know about those creatures.

The first silhouette hints at the Paldean Pokemon, Maushold. The Family Pokemon is a Normal-type pocket monster that evolves from Tandemaus. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it has two separate forms - a family of three and a family of four. Niantic's teaser shows the former Maushold form.

The name of the event, "Better Together," also perfectly fits the theme of Maushold.

Ultra Unlock Part 1: Better Together runs from July 17 to July 22 from 10 AM to 8 PM local time.

Shiny Togedemaru [Ultra Unlock Part 2: Strength of Steel]

The Ultra Unlock Part 2: Strength of Steel teaser's silhouette will be easily recognized by trainers as the Gen VII Electric/Steel Roly-Poly Pokemon, Togedemaru. The bottom-right corner of the post states:

"If you're lucky, you might encounter a shiny one!"

This suggests the event might see the debut of Shiny Togedemaru in the mix. The variant sports a beige tone instead of the original grey color.

Ultra Unlock Part 2: Strength of Steel runs from July 25 to July 30 from 10 AM to 8 PM local time.

And finally, Mega Lucario is likely arriving on Ultra Unlock Part 3: Mega Raid Day. The Pokemon GO community has been waiting for the Aura Pokemon's mega evolved version for a long time now and the announcement will surely have a few heads turning.

Ultra Unlock Part 3: Mega Raid Day takes place on July 27 at 12 PM, 1 PM, 5 PM, and 6 PM local time.
