The Pokemon GO Wild Area Special Research is exclusive to ticket-holding trainers. It is a branching questline, focusing on Electric- and Poison-type Pocket Monsters. While the Wild Area Special Research includes quite lucrative rewards, completing it will also provide trainers with in-game special bonuses for the next week.
Other than the aforementioned Special Research, there are other event-exclusive tasks for trainers to complete. Wild Area Collection Challenges, Timed Research, and Field Research are available during the course of the event.
You can learn more about the event in our Pokemon GO Wild Area 2024 event guide.
