Wurmple is a Bug-type Pocket Monster. There are five creatures in the Wurmple family, including itself:

• Wurmple
• Silcoon
• Cascoon
• Beautifly

How to evolve Wurmple into Silcoon in Pokemon GO

You can evolve your Wurmple into a Silcoon with 12 Wurmple Candies. However, you cannot decide if your Wurmple will evolve into a Silcoon or a Cascoon. What you get will be randomized and based on your luck.

So, if you fail to get a Silcoon, you must evolve multiple Wurmple till you get one. As a result, you will also have to accumulate Wurmple Candies to carry out one evolution after another.

How to evolve Wurmple into Cascoon in Pokemon GO

It is the same as evolving Wurmple into Silcoon. You will need 12 Wurmple Candies to trigger the evolution. If you do not get a Cascoon on the first try, you will have to carry out this evolution over and over again till you get the Cascoon.

Neither of the two Wurmple evolutions is useful in any form of battle in the game. That said, Dustox is defense-centric, while Beautifly has better attack stats.

Depending on what you want in your team, you can either go for Dustox or Beautifly. Since they are both Bug-type Pocket Monsters, you cannot expect them to perform very well in the battles.

Furthermore, both Dustox and Beautifly have mediocre stats, which makes them unfit to be put on any team. While their stats may differ a bit, ultimately, they are almost the same.
