Pokemon GO Yamask Research Day Field and Timed Research: All tasks and rewards

The Pokemon GO Yamask Research Day Field and Timed Research tasks form the backbone of the event. It will last from 2 to 5 pm local time on October 19, 2024. Given the theme of the event, you will have a 50-50 chance of encountering Yamask or its Galarian variant for every task you complete.

Each time you encounter a Yamask or Galarian Yamask during the Pokemon GO Yamask Research Day, it will have a 1-in-10 or 10% chance of being shiny.

Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Use 3 Pinap Berries while catching Pokémon - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Make 3 Nice Throws in a row - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Make 3 Nice Curveball Throws - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Make 3 Great Throws - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Make a Great Curveball Throw - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Make 5 Curveball Throws - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Make 3 Curveball Throws in a row - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Battle in a Gym - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Power up Pokémon 3 times - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Spin 2 PokéStops or Gyms - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
Earn 3 hearts with your buddy - Yamask or Galarian Yamask encounter
