Pokemon GO Young & Wise preparation guide

The Pokemon GO Young & Wise event kicks off at 10 am local time on Tuesday, December 10, and ends at 8 pm local time on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The event celebrates both Baby Pokemon and creatures that have an old and wise-looking appearance while focusing on hatching Eggs and raiding.

Event bonuses

There will be two bonuses in play during the Pokemon GO Young & Wise event. They are:

• 2x XP for hatching Eggs.
• 2x XP for winning Raid Battles.

There will also be Field Research tasks and Collection Challenges rewarding you with encounters with creatures featured in the event.

Follow these tips to make the most out of Pokemon GO's Young & Wise event:

• Use Lucky Eggs generously: Both event bonuses give you 2x XP. Using a Lucky Egg will help you gain 3x XP for every Raid you complete or Egg you hatch.
• Buy the Eggs-pedition Access Ticket: While many tickets in the game do not benefit players much, this one will come in handy for players wishing to grind out the Young & Wise event.
• Buy Raid Passes in bundles: Whether you want to raid in person or using Remote Raids, buying passes from the store in bundles will help you save money.
• Make a priority list of the raids you want to complete: Scraggy, Phantump, Jangmo-o, and Oranguru are the only raids that give you critters worth using in PvP battles. The rest of the Pocket Monster on offer in this event are mere collectibles.
