Pokemon Scarlet and Violet clip shows unique Hisuian Zoroark appearance after transformation

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been out for a few years now, but trainers are still making some interesting discoveries in the two Gen IX titles. One of the more recent examples concerned Hisuian Zoroark when it Terastallizes, creating the appearance of a seemingly transparent body. On Scarlet/Violet's subreddit, the user u/Autoohm888 shared what the incredible appearance change looked like:

After Terastallizing into a Ghost Tera Type in the clip, Hisuian Zoroark does indeed seem very transparent compared to most other Terastallized creatures in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. While many Pocket Monsters take on a crystalline appearance, Hisuian Zoroark is fairly transparent with only bits of shimmering light and color tracing its body, making this Terastallized form quite unique.

As one might expect, commenters to u/Autoohm888's post were quite surprised and loved the different design that a Terastallized Hisuian Zoroark has in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Other trainers posted that similar effects occur to other Pokemon, including Ceruledge's arm blades turning into a crystalline black color, and Necrozma also gains some transparency, according to fans.

Many players also made jokes about Hisuian Zoroark being crystal clear, and others referenced the line "Let me be clear," often spoken by former US president Barack Obama. A few trainers also remarked that they would go through the effort to acquire a Hisuian Zoroark in Pokemon Legends: Arceus to transfer it to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet just to see the appearance themselves.

Meanwhile, some trainers wondered if Hisuian Zoroark only took this form as a Ghost Tera Type. Based on the commenters' discussion, it seems as long as Hisuian Zoroark Terastallizes, it will have this transparent appearance. Still, the fact that u/Autoohm888's Zoroark Terastallized into a Ghost-type made some players joke that Hisuian Zoroark was "extra Ghosty" after Terastallizing.

Whatever the case, u/Autoohm888's post did get players wondering about what other unique visuals might be lurking in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet behind the veil of Terastallization. It seems that trainers already knew of a few other examples, but one has to wonder how many more Pokemon benefit visually from the Gen IX transformation gimmick.

With creatures like Necrozma and Hisuian Zoroark taking on very unique appearances after Terastallizing in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one has to wonder how many others might exist within the two Gen IX games. With so many Pocket Monsters available across the games and their DLCs as well as being transferrable from Pokemon Home, what other Terastallization secrets exist?

If nothing else, this might spur more than a few players to return to Paldea in Scarlet and Violet to find out for themselves, sending creatures to Pokemon Home from other games to experiment. Scarlet and Violet's popularity is stable for the time being, but some trainers who had already put down the games may return to see what other unique Terastallized forms they can find.

There may be even more secrets in Scarlet and Violet that fans still haven't deduced. Embedding little secrets into a Pokemon game isn't an unknown tactic for Game Freak, and trainers may just dive back into these two games to find the deeper mysteries in gameplay that they may have missed completely.
