Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Regulation Set H is the upcoming battle ruleset that will take over the VGC starting from September 1, 2024 (UTC). It is the seventh set of rules that will apply to competitive battles in the Generation IX games. This will take over after the conclusion of the Pokemon World Championships 2024, Honolulu, and last till the end of the year.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Regulation Set H will bring forth a host of changes, some of which might appear unusual to some players. This article covers everything you need to know about it, starting from its schedule, eligible and banned Pocket Monsters and other rules.

Regulation H of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet VGC will start at midnight UTC on September 1, 2024. Here is a region-wise breakdown of the date and time:

  • US (West): 5 pm PT (August 31, 2024)
  • US (East): 8 pm ET (August 31, 2024)
  • Berlin, Madrid, Paris: 1 am CEST (September 1, 2024)
  • India: 5:30 am IST (September 1, 2024)
  • China: 8 am CST (September 1, 2024)
  • Japan and Korea: 9 am JST/KST (September 1, 2024)

When does Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Regulation Set H end?

Regulation H of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet VGC ends at midnight UTC on January 6, 2025. Here is a region-wise breakdown of the date and time:

  • US (West): 4 pm PT (January 5, 2025)
  • US (East): 7 pm ET (January 5, 2025)
  • Berlin, Madrid, Paris: 1 am CEST (January 6, 2025)
  • India: 5:30 am IST (January 6, 2025)
  • China: 8 am CST (January 6, 2025)
  • Japan and Korea: 9 am JST/KST (January 6, 2025)

After this, the Regulation G ruleset will make come back till April 2025.


All eligible Pocket Monsters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Regulation Set H

The following Pocket Monsters will be eligible to participate in Single and Double battles during Regulation Set H of Scarlet and Violet VGC:

All Pokemon will be automatically set to level 50 when they enter a battle.

Held Items

The sane Held Item cannot be held by two Pocket Monsters on the same team.
