Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island is the latest booster pack coming to the game, bringing a series of new creatures to the portable card game. As the promotional imagery would suggest, Mythical Island is not a full expansion. Rather, it is a singular-themed booster pack, putting it at around 1/3 the size of a standard expansion. However, it will still add over 80 new cards to the game. Only a small amount of the cards have been revealed so far, but many of them feature entirely new creatures for Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Other monsters like Volcarona, Marshadow, and Dedenne will make their grand debut, while familiar faces such as Pikachu, Gyarados, and Aerodactyl will receive some touch-ups with new cards. However, it is currently unclear if this will have any impact on the game's current meta.

The items and supporter cards, on the other hand, can be utterly diabolical in the right hands. The Poke Flute makes a return as an item that allows players to return a discarded monster to their bench, making it a must-have for Charizard ex and Articuno ex decks.
