Remote Raid in Pokemon GO is a feature that allows players to take part in Raids without having to be physically present at the location of the Gym that is hosting them. This works with the help of an item called Remote Raid Pass, which is your ticket to participate in these Pokemon GO Raids without being at its location. You can be anywhere in the world and join a Remote Raid as long as someone invites you to it.

A Remote Raid in Pokemon GO allows you to take part in a Raid without being physically present at its location. The feature was initially introduced in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it became permanent in the game owing to its popularity.

Remote Raids are especially beneficial for people who do not readily have access to Gyms where Raids are hosted. Those living in rural areas often do not have enough Gyms that can host Raids, which ultimately restricts their gameplay experience. Similarly, certain raids are area-limited, which makes only local players eligible to take part.

In these cases, a Remote Raid in Pokemon GO saves the day. By utilizing a Remote Raid Pass, you will be able to join these Raids as long as someone invites you.
