It is the base form of Centiskorch and it is based on a centipede and can produce an immense amount of heat inside its body. Appearance

Sizzlipede is based on a centipede, a bug and it is primarily red in colour. It has a maroon back as well but this Pokemon is flat with five legs on each side. It also has yellow circles on its underbelly with sharp eyes and two whiskers which look like it is made out of fire.

Behavior

These Pokemon have a unique way of hunting prey, very similar to microwaving. It stores flammable gas inside its body and then uses this gas to heat itself up. Its entire body, especially the yellow circles on its underbelly get heated. It then wraps around the prey, then cooks them. They then eat the prey to the last morsel.

Strengths and Weaknesses

As a dual Fire and Bug type, Sizzlipede is especially weak to Rock type moves and takes four times the normal damage from them. It is also weak to Water and Flying type moves and takes only twice the normal damage. However, it is resistant to Fighting, Bug, Steel, Ice and Fairy type moves, taking just half the normal damage. It is also resistant to Grass type moves, taking a quarter of the normal damage because of the dual typing.

Best moveset

Sizzlipede can be absolutely devastating in LC with a decent attack stat. It can be a pretty strong attacker with STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) moves like Leech Life and Fire Lash, paired with a Life Orb. Substitute provides you with a protective barrier while you use other moves. Leech Life helps you quickly recover while hiding under substitute. Finally, Power Whip is a move for coverage and comes especially handy against Water types.
