Appearance

It has large ears on the sides of its head and red, oval eyes with no pupils. Its head houses a yellow flower that opens and closes depending on the temperature of its surroundings. Skiploom spreads its petals to absorb as much sunlight as possible. At a mere 2 feet tall and only 2 pounds, it easily can get blown away with the wind
Behavior
Skiploom are constantly seen taking in sunlight whenever they can and will float high in the air off the gusts of wind in order to do so. It opens or closes its petals based on the temperature of its surroundings, making it known as a natural thermometer. It hates the rain and will quickly seek shelter whenever it feels it coming on
Strengths and Weaknesses
Skiploom is capable of being a great annoyance to enemy teams as a disabler. It has access to numerous status effect moves such as Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, and Stun spore to debilitate enemies whilst keeping itself safe with moves like Substitute. However its stat spread is somewhat poor with its only really solid stat being its speed. As a Grass/Flying type, Skiploom has a relatively poor spread of type matchups, resisting only Grass, Water, and Fighting type moves while being extremely vulnerable to Ice type moves as well as Fire, Poison, Flying and Rock type moves.
Best moveset
With this set of moves, Skiploom aims to annoy and gradually wear down its opponents with a combination of status moves and utility. Sleep Powder is the core move here as it allows it to force a response by the enemy to either switch out or power through it. It can set up a substitute to protect its usual fragile self, then proceed to Leech Seed, allowing it to constantly recover the health lost from Substitutes while wearing down its opponent. Encore can be used to trap opponents who try to set up on Skiploom to force their hand.
