Skitty is a Normal type Pokemon introduced in Generation III. It evolves to Delcatty when exposed to a Moon Stone and it closely resembles, and is named for, a cat. Skitty is known to get distracted easily and follow things around but is still a popular pet in the Pokemon world. Despite looking innocent, Skitty also happens to be a fierce competitor in battle.

Appearance
Skitty is a small feline Pokemon and has a thin tail that ends in a large bulbous ending with three pin-like things emerging from it. It has a stumpy body and short legs with a cream colored crescent shaped marking on its face. The rest of its head is pink including both its ears, which have a tuft of fur coming off. The ears' interior is purple.
Behavior
In battle, Skitty will puff out its tail and threaten its enemies with a loud, sharp growl. This is a surprise coming from such a sweet, innocent-looking Pokemon. It is a difficult Pokemon to earn trust from, but is highly sought after for its looks and personality. It lives in tree holes and in tropical forests.

Skitty is weak against Fighting types and they will do twice the normal damage to it. It is immune to Ghost types but is not resistant to any Pokemon types. Shiny Skitty has a different color scheme than regular Skitty as Shiny Skitty’s main color is a peach color with a little yellow on the tail. The Shiny Skitty’s face is also a darker color than the regular Skitty. The regular Skitty evolves into a Delcatty which has purple as its featured color, but the Shiny Skitty evolves into a Shiny Delcatty that has a pink color as its main feature.

Here are Skitty’s best moves; Double Edge has a 33% recoil, Solar Beam charges up in one turn and hits on the next and doesn’t need to charge in sunlight.
