Appearance
Sliggoo is based on slugs and is primarily purple. It has a pair of green eyes along with a mouth right below it with two horns which extend similar to an antenna. It is sluggish overall and covered in mucus. It has a shell-like structure on its back which contains its brains. Its belly is a darker shade of purple and does not have any visibly legs, but a slimy part there instead.
Behavior
Upon evolution, Sliggoo loses its eyesight. However, this is not a problem for this Pokemon as it doesn’t rely on hearing or scent. Instead, it has horns on its head which function as a radar. It produces a type of mucous which can dissolve almost anything that it comes in contact with. This Pokemon is almost sociopathic, since it can’t differentiate between friends or allies before dissolving it and eating it, slurping it slowly. This is because its brain has only two functions; to eat food and to escape from enemies.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Sliggoo is a pure Dragon type and is weak to Ice, Fairy and Dragon type moves. It has no immunities but as is resistant to fire, grass, water and electric type moves.
Best moveset
Sliggoo does not have much of a viability due to its evolved form, Goodra being one of the tankiest and strongest Pokemon ever. However, if you don’t feel like evolving your Sliggoo, you can still run it with an eviolite. Draco Meteor is a strong move which lowers your Special Attack every time you use it.
Unless you are switching out next turn, have a super-effective hit against the opponent, or if it is a sure kill move, prevent using this move as all your other attacks are also reliant on the special attack stat. This can be a drawback as this Pokemon does receive STAB from this move. Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb and Blizzard are all Special moves which can be used for coverage. These moves have a chance to Paralyze, Poison and Freeze respectively.

Sludge Bomb | Blizzard |
How to catch Sliggoo in Pokemon Go?
Sliggoo can not be caught in the wild as the only way to obtain a Sliggoo is by capturing a Goomy and then evolving it into Sliggoo. You can evolve Goomy into Sliggoo using 25 candies. And to evolve Sliggoo further into Goodra, you can do so using 100 candies while either being in range with a Pokestop with Rainy Lure module active or if the weather is Rain.
This Pokemon has not yet appeared in any raids.
Trivia

Conclusion
Sliggoo are creatures that do not have a fully developed brain and devolved eyesight, making it seem like evolution hates them. However, it has strong antennas which have incredible detection skills, which not only helps it hunt, but also locate prey. Upon evolving from Sliggoo, Goodra becomes incredibly powerful, maybe even evolution’s favourite. Competitively, there is no reason to use Sliggoo as Goodra can provide better stats. You can still run it with an eviolite.
