Snorunt is an Ice-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III, who evolves into either Glalie starting at level 42 or, if female, Froslass when exposed to a Dawn Stone. Snorunt made its main series debut in the episode Let It Snow, Let It, Snow, Let It Snorunt!, in which Snorunt stole Ash's Badges, prompting Ash to pursue it. Snorunt ultimately came to trust Ash and joined his squad before evolving into Glalie, later in the series, after mastering Ice Beam through extensive practice.

Appearance
Snorunt is a tiny Pokémon with an ovoid body that is black and it possesses light blue eyes that are round in shape, broad teeth, and spherical hands. It is covered with a yellow triangular shape cloak that features an orange stripe around the rim and three orange diamond marks on the back.
Behavior
Well-adapted to life in colder climates, it subsists on snow and ice and can survive temperatures as low as -150 degrees Fahrenheit. Snorunt is also a social creature, living and traveling with other Snorunt in groups of five. It can be found in caves, particularly when the outside weather lacks snow and additionally, it has been known to visit human dwellings.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Being an Ice-type Pokemon, it is resistant against other Ice-type moves but it is weak against Fighting, Rock, Steel, and Fire-type moves.
Best Moveset
Snorunt is a great suicide entry hazard lead because, thanks to Ice Beam, it can defeat most entry hazard removers, particularly Flying- and Ground-types. Snorunt's stats are mediocre; it's very weak and can't take many hits and it also has poor defensive typing, which means it can't last long in a match. The fact that it can only withstand Ice-type attacks only adds to that and thus Snorunt should only be utilized by players who have used it before.
Spikes is the main reason you would use Snorunt, Ice Beam is Snorunt's best STAB attack and is great because it pressures entry hazard removers. While Hidden Power Ground is pretty weak, it allows Snorunt to hit Steel-types when they are switched in. Ice Shard is a useful priority attack, which lets Snorunt finish off weakened foes after hitting them with Ice Beam.

How to catch Snorunt in Pokémon Go?
Snorunt is an Ice-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region and it evolves either into Glalie when fed 100 candies or a female Snorunt can evolve into Froslass when fed 100 candies and given a Sinnoh Stone. Snorunt is known to live in caves but players have a chance to encounter them in the wild as well with snowy weather and conditions boosting the spawn rate. It is also worth noting that Snorunt was previously a 1st tier Raid Boss. It has a shiny version where its hat is a light shade of blue.

Conclusion
Congratulations! You now know about this adorable Pokemon who is based on a yukinko, a childlike spirit in Japanese mythology said to emerge when it snows. It is also one of the only Pokemon whose evolution depends on its gender. But when it comes to competitive battling, Snorunt's stats are mediocre as it's very weak and can't take many hits but it has still found a place in many teams because of Glalie being very useful.
