Appearance of Sobble

Sobble has light-blue skin with teal spots and a light blue underbelly and face. Sobble has a yellow protrusion at the top of its head which resembles a fin, a rounded blue tail resembling a chameleon, and teal eyes with white pupils and sclerae. Sobble’s limbs are thin and sticky, allowing it to stick to other objects for climbing and its head is disproportionately large. Sobble usually sports a worried expression and can camouflage itself into water. Sobble can also move as both a quadruped and a biped Pokemon.

Behavior of Sobble

Sobble is shown to be very timid and easily threatened. When threatened, Sobble will secrete what appears to be sweat and tears which can serve the purpose of disarming any dangers by causing those nearby to start crying uncontrollably. Sobble will sob and spread its tears while escaping in order to prevent others from following it. Finally, Sobble can camouflage itself into the water, which also serves to hide from danger.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Sobble has stats similar to what you would expect from a starter, with the same base stat total as Grookey and Scorbunny, with its highest stats being its speed and special attack. Since Sobble is a water type, it is weak to grass and electric-type attacks and is strong against the ground, rock, and fire-type Pokemon. While it is at a disadvantage since it is not fully evolved, its evolution chain has a wide variety of versatile moves it can learn for maximum type coverage. Overall Sobble and its evolutions are excellent for a wide range of type coverages and a speed-based Pokemon.

Shiny Sobble

Shiny Sobble version of Sobble has a light blue-pink tone instead of the traditional greenish blue tone. A Shiny Sobble can be found through breeding just like any other shiny Pokemon.

Best moveset

Since Sobble isn’t fully evolved, it is at a disadvantage in combat. Until it is fully evolved, determining an ideal moveset is difficult. Generally, STAB (same-type attack bonus) attacks and utilizing Sobble’s high speed as support is best until Sobble is evolved.
