The Pokemon GO Sprigatito Community Day Special Research (Meowgical Occasion) is a ticketed questline available to trainers during the event. Rewards like Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and Sprigatito encounters are up for grabs for those who complete the research.

Trainers can purchase the Meowgical Occasion Special Research for US$2.00 (or at a similar cost in the player's local currency). It can also be gifted to any Pokemon GO player with whom the trainer shares a Great Friends Friendship level or higher.

• Use 25 Berries to help catch Pokemon - Sprigatito encounter
• Catch 75 Pokemon - 1x Star Piece
• Make 25 Great Throws - 20x Sprigatito Candy
• Spin 15 PokeStops or Gyms - 1x Incense
• Explore 3 km - 3x Silver Pinap Berry
• Complete 5 Field Research tasks - 30x Ultra Ball
• Rewards: Sprigatito encounter, 7500x Stardust, 1x Premium Battle Pass

Meowgical Occasion: Step 2 of 2

• Send 3 Gifts and add a sticker to each - Floragato encounter
• Earn 3 hearts with your buddy - 1x Rocket Radar
• Transfer 25 Pokemon - 5x Sprigatito Candy XL
• Evolve 5 Pokemon - 3x Rare Candy
• Power up Pokemon 20 times - 1x Charged TM
• Earn 15000 XP - Meowscarada encounter
• Rewards: Sprigatito encounter, 10000 XP, 1x Rare Candy XL

Note that the Meowgical Occasion Special Research won't expire when the Sprigatito Community Day ends. Nevertheless, given the nature of the tasks and rewards involved, players are advised to complete it today (January 5, 2025).
