Toxtricity is the first poison-electric combination-type Pokemon the series has ever seen. With two separate forms dependent on nature rather than training and a unique type combination, Toxtricity is the most unique Pokemon introduced Pokemon Sword and Shield. Evolving from the baby Pokemon, Toxel, Toxtricity has its yellow, Amped Form if its nature is hardy, adamant, brave, naughty, docile, naive, impish, lax, hasty, jolly, sassy, rash, or quirky, while it has its blue, Low Key Form if its nature is bold, lonely, timid, relaxed, modest, mild, serious, quiet, calm, bashful, careful, or gentle. This unusual way of determining what form you can achieve makes it more difficult to determine which version you will get until after you obtain a Toxel.

Appearance of Toxtricity
Toxtricity is a bipedal reptilian Pokemon with two forms depending on its nature. In its Amped Form, Toxtricity is a mainly purple Pokemon with a yellow underbelly and electrical mohawk. In this form, Toxtricity is usually slightly slouched over with six purple bumps on its chest and spikes on its wrists and hips. In its Low Key Form, Toxtricity is still mainly purple, but its underbelly is light blue and it has a visible spike on its forehead with its electrical discharge being more spread out along its spine. The spikes remain the same, but Toxtricity has four purple bumps on its chest instead of six. Finally, Low Key Toxtricity is stood in a more upright position with its head raised.
Behavior of Toxtricity
Toxtricity’s behaviors are also altered by its form. An Amped Toxtricity is aggressive and short-tempered, with a tendency to attack anything it comes into contact with. This form also drinks stagnant water in order to absorb its toxins and generate electricity. In contrast, a Low Key Toxtricity tends to be self-confident, preferring to taunt its opponents into attacking it first.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Toxtricity has a high special attack stat, making it effective at attacking with electrical or poison-type moves. Despite this, Toxtricity has generally low defense, in regards to both its defense and special defense. As a poison-electric type, Toxtricity is strong against fairy, grass, flying, and water-types and weak to ground and psychic-type attacks.
Shiny Toxtricity
Shiny Toxtricity is a version of Toxtricity which has a pink tone instead of the traditional purple. There was a February 19th giveaway of a shiny Toxtricity coinciding with the release Pokemon Trading Card Game Shining Fates set, but for those who missed it, the traditional method of finding shiny Pokemon still applies.
Toxtricity Vmax
Toxtricity Vmax is a Pokemon card featuring Gigantamax Toxtricity that evolves from Toxtricity V. This card was released as a part of the Rebel Clash card expansion, the second major expansion of the Sword & Shield Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Toxtricity Viacom has two other print versions: the Rebel Clash Rainbow Rare print and the Shining Fate print.
Best moveset
Using a Toxtricity with the ability Punk Rock will boost sound-based moves like Overdrive and Boomburst, making a special attack build more effective. Equipping a Throat Spray can also be useful to increase the damage of sound-based attacks. Using the high special attack of Toxtricity can help make it more effective in battle. Ensuring Toxtricity has at least one strong Poison-type move is effective for countering fairy-type Pokemon.
