Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO will be introduced in the Wild Area Fukuoka and Global events. These Pocket Monsters are potent versions of the creatures already available to encounter and catch in the mobile game. Developer Niantic has decided to debut 20 Mighty Pokemon during the Fukuoka event, including Pseudo-Legendaries like Dragonite and Garchomp.
From what we know, Mighty Pokemon will be available to encounter in the wild but challenging to obtain because of their low catch rates. You can find them during the Pokemon GO Wild Area Global event on November 23 and 24, 2024.
You must have Poke Balls with higher catch rates, such as Ultra Balls or GO Safari Balls, to catch them. Here is everything you need to know about Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO.

What are Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO?
Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO are species that have the following properties:
- They are more likely to have high ratings in Attack, Defense, and HP.
- They are more likely to be XL or XXL in size.
- They are tougher to capture than other wild spawns.
All Mighty Pokemon are expected to have a better stat spread, with an increased offense, defense, and stamina. This means any Mighty Garchomp, for instance, will be stronger than a non-Mighty Garchomp due to the power differences. These creatures are also likely to be XL or XXL in size, indicating they are visually larger.
A Mighty Pokemon can be spotted spawning in the wild just like a regular wild critter during the events. However, you need Poke Balls with higher catch rates to make successful captures.

How can you get Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO?
If you want to get Mighty Pokemon in Pokemon GO, you will have to make sure you get hold of effective Poke Balls. It is recommended to avoid regular red Poke Balls, as they don’t help you obtain these powerful creatures.
When you utilize the new GO Safari Balls, which will make their debut alongside the Mighty Pokemon, your chances of capturing these creatures will be greatly enhanced. Moreover, the catch rate can be improved further by throwing an excellent curveball.
