Wigglytuff was one of the original tank Pokemon as it’s incredibly high health and decent defensive stats have made it an excellent Pokemon to take damage from heavy hitting opponents. It is also one of the Pokemon that had its type changed when the fairy type was added as it changed from a pure normal type to a dual normal/fairy type.

Appearance
Wigglytuff is a pink, soft creature that is shaped almost like a bean with stumpy arms and feet. Its stomach is entirely white as well and it has pointed ears that are also tipped with the same color. Not only that, on its forehead is a tuft of pink fur that curls upward from its head.
Behavior
Wigglytuff's body is soft and malleable which means that it can stretch itself to contain a large amount of air. It can inflate itself up to 20 times larger than its actual size which allows it to bounce and float around. It can also use this inflation to grow large very quickly to scare off predators, although it doesn't need to do this often as Wigglytuff are not common in the wild. It comes from an evolutionary stone which means it will likely only evolve in the care of a trainer.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Wiggytuff’s new dual typing is decent though it still falls to the same weaknesses to the normal type but it also gains a lot of benefits from the fairy type. It is completely immune to ghost and dragon type moves and is resistant to bug and dark type moves, taking only half damage from them. It is, however, weak to poison and steel type moves and takes double damage from them.

Offensive Setup: Wigglytuff has always been a strong choice as a bulky Pokemon that can set up field changes like Stealth Rock while taking little damage in the process. Not only that, it can follow that up with some decently powerful moves to sweep the opponents team.
