Appearance

Wormadam is a black, bugworm-like Pokémon that either presents with a coat of green leaves, beige sand, or pink building insulation fused to its skin. It has a long, pointed beak, long, coiled antenna, and oval eyes. A Plant Cloak Wormadam has leaves for arms and white flowers scattered around its coat while its beak is also tipped in green. A Sand Cloak Wormadam has rocks for arms and little rocks scattered around its coat, with a brown tipped beak. Finally, a Trash Cloak Wormadam has a pink ribbon for arms and a pink-tipped beak.

Behavior

Wormadam is a female-only species. It has been said that Wormadam that evolve on cold days will have a thicker coat and they never shed their coats. Both Wormadam and its pre-evolution Burmy are very skittish Pokémon and dislike being out in the open. They will almost always flee when they sense any type of danger.

Strengths and Weaknesses

A Plant Cloak Wormadam is extremely weak to Flying-type Pokémon, taking four times as much damage as normal. It is weak to Poison, Rock, Fire, Bug, and Ice-types, taking twice as much damage as normal. It is not immune to any type. It is resistant to Fighting, Water, and Electric-types, taking only half of damage as usual. It is very resistant to Ground and Grass-type Pokémon, taking only a quarter of the normal amount of damage.

A Sandy Cloak Wormadam is weak to Flying, Fire, Water, and Ice type Pokémon, taking twice as much damage as normal. It is immune to Electric-types and resistant to Fighting, Poison and Ground types, taking only half of the normal amount of damage.
