Behavior

Zarude is an extremely aggressive Pokémon that lives deep in the forest. They dislike humans and other Pokémon, though they form strong social bonds with other Zarude to form packs. Most forest-dwelling Pokémon fear roving packs of Zarude. Zarude uses its vines to swing through the trees, fight, gather food, and absorb energy from trees. Zarude can even heal itself by wrapping its injuries with its vines.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Zarude’s Dark and Grass typing gives it good defense against Water, Electric, Grass, Ground, Ghost, and Dark type moves, and immunity to Psychic type moves. However, Zarude is weak to Fire, Ice, Fighting, Poison, Flying, and Fairy type moves and has a double weakness to Bug type moves.

Zarude’s high Attack and Speed make it a formidable physical sweeper.

Shiny Zarude

Shiny Zarude swaps its grey belly fur for distinct light brown belly fur. This dramatic palette swap allows Shiny Zarude to stand out in Pokémon collections and battles.
