13) Jim Parsons and Rihanna
The strong friendship between pop icon Rihanna and The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons is another example of great yet unlikely friendships in Hollywood. The two met for the first time while working on Home, the 2015 movie. After their first meeting, the pair quickly hit it off as friends and became closer friends over the years.
Jim Parsons was seen talking about and gushing over Rihanna on different talk shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Talk, among others, while he was promoting their movie Home. According to L'OFFICIEL, in an interview, Parsons called Rihanna the “best listener”. In a The Talk interview during Home's press tour, Jim Parsons spoke about his friendship with the pop singer Rihanna. He said:
"Sometimes you're in an interview with somebody and it's — it is what it is,...But sometimes there's, like, these great verbal sparring partners — and that's what [Rihanna] was."
14) Lizzo and Harry Styles
Harry Styles and Lizzo are amazing examples of celebrity friendships that no one expected but now loves. They are the ultimate definitions of BFFs. They are always seen hanging out at different festivals and award shows, enjoying each other's company to the fullest.
The two even treated their fans by performing together at Coachella, The Brits and even The Grammys. During an interview on The Morning Mash Up, the As It Was singer Harry Styles opened up about his love and admiration for singer Lizzo. During the interview, the singer said, while talking about which song he wished he had written:
"Probably Lizzo. I'd say like... 'Good as Hell' maybe. I feel like she has this infectious positivity that I think is so important....She's so authentically herself and as a fan, I think that's all you really want from people that you're watching, listening to, for people to be themselves. It's really powerful. She's really inspiring."
15) Pitbull and John Travolta
Actor John Travolta and singer Pitbull have been friends for a long time now. The two have worked together in the crime drama film titled, Gotti, where Travolta played one of the lead roles and Pitbull gave music to the movie. In 2019, John Travolta has also guest-starred in the singer's music video for 3 to Tango.
The two have been so inspired by one another that Travolta even went bald following his friend Pitbull's footsteps. In an interview with Extra Travolta spoke about going bald after being inspired by Pitbull. During the interview, he said:
"A good friend, Armando Perez, Pitbull, he lives his life like this....He would send pictures of me, I have all my hair, and he'd superimpose no hair and say, 'I prefer this,' so I thought ... Maybe it's time to do it."
