16) Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon

Two of the superwomen of Hollywood Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling share an unbreakable bond of friendship. The two have collaborated on different projects, entailing The Mindy Project and The Morning Show, among others. Over the years, their friendship has grown even stronger in the most natural way possible. They also tend to complement each other's personalities very well.

The two are also great mothers and give each other great advice on parenting as well. In an interview with PopSugar, Mindy Kaling went on to praise Witherspoon for giving her one of the most memorable gifts after the birth of her son Spencer. During the interview, she said:

"I felt like the minute I got back from the hospital, there was a gorgeous gift for Spencer, with beautiful clothes and toys,...And this is why you know a gift is from Reese Witherspoon — she also got my older kid something. My daughter, who didn’t do anything, got all these beautiful clothes and toys, too. And she sent us food, so we didn’t have to cook for four days."

17) Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett

One of the most unexpected and special bonds has been shared by two iconic singers Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. The legendary singer Bennett first met Gaga in 2011, after she performed a new version of Orange Colored Sky by Nat King Cole at the Robin Hood Foundation gala in New York City. Tony then went on to ask Gaga to perform a duet with him for his next album titled, Duets II. At that time, the two went on to record The Lady Is a Tramp.

In 2013, the pair sang together at President Obama's final inaugural ball for the second inauguration. The two have remained close friends since their first duet which took place more than a decade ago. In an interview with AARP, Lady Gaga gushed over their friendship and showed how much she admired Tony. During the interview, she said:

"The fact that Tony sees me as a natural-born jazz singer is still something that I haven't gotten over,"

18) Justin Bieber and Diane Keaton

Another highly unlikely celebrity friendship that grew all of a sudden is the friendship between singer Justin Bieber legendary actor Diane Keaton. Back in 2015, during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Diane Keaton went on to admit that she had a huge crush on Bieber, which shocked many fans.

During the same interview, the show's host Ellen made Keaton meet Justin Bieber and since then the two have become closer friends and share a beautiful bonding. Later on, Keaton starred in Bieber’s music video for his giant hit song Ghost. In an interview with Metro, Keaton spoke about her experience of filming the video for Justin Bieber's song. She said:

"...couldn’t believe it...This was like one of those things that happens, [and] you’re going, ‘I’m what?’ … And of course, it was so much fun, it couldn’t have been more fun."
