Taylor Sheridan, the man behind Yellowstone, returns to action-packed spy thriller territory with Special Ops: Lioness, starring Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3). Saldana plays a squad leader in a series full of strong, powerful women who recruit Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira), a Marine with unique skills, into her program aimed at apprehending terrorists. The series expands on Sheridan's grim drama repertory by skillfully fusing female strength with espionage suspense, political drama, and general intrigue.

3. Joe Pickett (2021–present)

Joe Pickett is a neo-Western based on the novels of C.J. Box. It tells the story of a small-town game warden in Wyoming who becomes caught in a political minefield when a string of murders sets the locals against each other in a struggle that could destroy the village. The morality of the program is deliciously ambiguous as the social concerns driving the community apart are around big-game hunting and the preservation of the environment in Yellowstone Park. This is a novel motivating factor that is uncommon in the Western genre.

4. Fatal Attraction (2023-present)

Fatal Attraction tells the story of a wonderfully evolved recreation of the classic film starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close. As the sensual story unfolds, Fatal Attraction, which was developed for television by Alexandra Cunningham (Dirty John) and Kevin J. Hynes, dives headfirst into psychological thriller territory, building steamy tension while deftly navigating heightened themes of infidelity, coercive control, and mental illness. Joshua Jackson (Dr. Death) and Lizzy Caplan give outstanding performances in the series, which deftly updates the classic movie through a contemporary viewpoint.

5. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022-Present)

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' events are based on Captain Christopher Pike's tenure as the USS Enterprise's commander. In the years preceding Captain Kirk's enlistment in the U.S.S. Enterprise, Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One would accompany them on their exploration of new planets throughout the galaxy. This series is probably the greatest Star Trek adventure in decades and recognizes the value of mischief. Both newbies and ardent Star Trek enthusiasts should definitely check out this series on Paramount+.
