American broadcaster Alisyn Camerota announced her departure from CNN via an Instagram post on December 8, 2024. The caption of Camerota's Instagram post read:

"Big News, Everyone! — today is my last day on CNN. Tune in at 4:50p (et) for my sign off. Keep it here for updates! ❤️❤️❤️"

Camerota started working at CNN in 2014 and has completed ten years with the network. According to a report by Variety dated December 8, 2024, the broadcaster's exit was followed by CNN and its corporate parent, Warner Bros. discovery, allegedly contemplating more job cuts as the news outlet struggles with assigning more resources to digital content.

Alisyn Camerota's net worth is $8.5 million, as mentioned on the Celebrity Net Worth portal. The website also states that the broadcaster's annual salary is $3 million.

As per Celebrity Net Worth, Alisyn Camerota started her professional journey by working at television stations like WHDH, Boston and WTTG, Washington D.C. Camerota also worked on Ted Koppel's documentaries at Koppel Communications and America's Most Wanted.

The broadcaster joined Fox Network in 1998 as a correspondent for the Boston Bureau and provided reports for the network's affiliate news service, Fox News Edge. Camerota blogged on the Fox & Friends page in October 2007 and became the co-host of the network's online-only segment called "The After the Show Show."

After appearing on the Friday edition of "Fox & Friends First", Camerota co-hosted "America's News Headquarters" alongside Bill Hemmeron in September 2013. The broadcaster left Fox after being with the network for 16 years in March 2014. Camerota said that the journalists at CNN "are the very best in the entire news business" and that it's been an honor for her to be their colleague. The broadcaster mentioned:

"It's also an honor to have been in your homes this past decade through some of the biggest stories of our lifetimes. I'm always touched when a viewer comes up and tells me that I helped them get through these challenging times."

Apart from addressing her departure from the network and posting about it on Instagram, Alisyn Camerota posted a video on the social media platform sharing that it's a wrap on her journey with CNN.

In the video, Camerota took off her mic and IFB and mentioned that she is on to new horizons. The broadcaster hasn't mentioned a specific reason for leaving the network yet.
