Sima Taparia, who also famously goes by the alias Sima Aunty, is a professional matchmaker whose work is full-time introducing romantic hopefuls. As per People, she is responsible for roughly 150 successful marriages around the world. Taparia came to the limelight by starring in the show Indian Matchmaking. Her target customers are the Indian crowd who are based abroad, especially in the US.
During a conversation with People, when asked how she came to know about the show, Sima Taparia said, "I met Indian Matchmaking creator and executive producer Smriti Mundhra when she came to me as a client years ago. She then made a documentary called A Suitable Girl, which followed my daughter and two other young women in India on the journey to marriage. During that time of filming, Smriti and I spent a lot of time together. After this film won an award at the Tribeca Film Festival, Smriti pitched the idea for Indian Matchmaking to Netflix and the rest is history."
Will there be a season four of Indian Matchmaking?
Indian Matchmaking hasn't been renewed for another season. As of April 30, the makers of the show haven't confirmed whether the show will be continuing further with Taparia helping people meet their potential match.
Anyways it's way too early to get to know about the fourth season as the show’s third season was only released in April 2023 on Netflix.
