Andrew Tate is a former British kickboxer, entrepreneur, and internet personality. He was born on December 1, 1986, in Washington, Tyne and Wear, England. Tate began kickboxing at a young age and went on to become a world champion in the sport.

In addition to his career in kickboxing, Tate is also known for his controversial opinions and behavior on social media. He has been involved in several controversies, including making derogatory comments about women, promoting violence, and engaging in feuds with other internet personalities.

Tate has also been involved in various business ventures, including real estate and cryptocurrency investments. He has authored several books on entrepreneurship and personal development, including "The Tate Principles" and "The Hustler's Bible."

Here is a timeline of his major controversies and feuds:

House Search - April 2022

In April 2022, Andrew Tate's residence was subjected to a search by Romanian authorities as part of their probe into allegations of human trafficking and rape. The raid was conducted by Romania's Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism, also known as DIICOT, who cited it as proof that their investigation had been ongoing for several months.

DIICOT further clarified that Tate's December arrest was unrelated to the pizza boxes featured in a clap back video aimed at Greta Thunberg, which will be discussed later.

Bans on Social Media - August 2022

In August 2022, Andrew Tate was banned from Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for violating rules concerning "dangerous individuals" and breaching hate speech regulations. This brought his total number of social media bans to five. Tate was initially barred from Twitter in 2017, but he was permitted to return in November 2022.

Additionally, despite being unable to create a TikTok account, his videos continue to garner millions of views on the platform. Tate subsequently rebranded himself on the Rumble streaming service, which boasts of being "immune to cancel culture."

Row with Greta Thunberg - December 27, 2022

On December 27, 2022, Andrew Tate instigated a dispute with climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter by posting a photo of himself next to a Bugatti, bragging about owning 33 cars, and requesting her email address to share information about their "enormous emissions." In response, Ms. Thunberg crafted a reply containing a satirical email address that ridiculed Tate and concluded with the phrase "getalife.com." Her retort rapidly gained popularity and became one of the most well-liked tweets of all time.

On December 28, 2022, Andrew Tate released a video response to Greta Thunberg, where he can be seen smoking a cigar and advising her to "get a life." During the video, Tate was handed a pile of pizza boxes marked with Romanian branding, leading to speculation that the footage inadvertently exposed his location to law enforcement authorities.

Despite the rumors, no proof has surfaced to substantiate this claim. Thunberg took advantage of the situation to make a witty comment, tweeting, "this is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes."

The Arrest - December 29, 2022

On December 29, 2022, Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan, and two Romanian women were apprehended on allegations of human trafficking, rape, and organizing a criminal network. Following their arrest, they were initially detained for 24 hours, which was later extended to 30 days. In January, their detention period was prolonged by another 30 days, permitting them to remain in custody until February 27.

Court Appearance - January 10, 2023

On January 10, 2023, the Tate brothers stood before a court in Bucharest, where they lost their plea to overturn the extension of their custody. The judge's reasoning for the extension was articulated in a document, which stated that "there is a likelihood of them avoiding investigations" and that they might "depart Romania and take refuge in nations where extradition is not permitted."

Their attorneys further contended, albeit unsuccessfully, that the court should restore their confiscated assets, which included real estate, plots of land, and an array of high-end automobiles.

The Raid - January 12, 2023

On January 12, 2023, the police conducted searches at seven additional residences in an effort to gather more evidence as part of their investigation into Andrew Tate.

Confiscation of Luxury Cars - January 14, 2023

Several high-end automobiles, including a Rolls-Royce and a BMW, were confiscated from Andrew Tate's villa by Romanian authorities on January 14, 2023. The vehicles were seized from the property and relocated by law enforcement to a confidential warehouse.

Questioning of the Brothers - January 25 & 26, 2023

Tristan and Andrew Tate were interrogated for two days at the Bucharest headquarters of DIICOT, the agency responsible for combating organized crime and terrorism, on January 25th and 26th, 2023. As they arrived for the second day of questioning, Tristan Tate remarked to reporters, "What evidence is there? There is none."

Meanwhile, Andrew Tate maintained his innocence as he departed, stating, "There is no evidence in my file because I've done nothing wrong." Ramona Bolla, a spokesperson for DIICOT, indicated that analyzing the "numerous devices" seized was a time-consuming task.

Rejection of Appeal - February 1, 2023

On February 1, 2023, Tate, his brother, and the two Romanian women filed another appeal against their 30-day detention, claiming that the extended detention was "unnecessary.". However, the court once again rejected their appeal, upholding their detention until February 27.

House Arrest - March 2023

The Tates and the other two accused were placed under house arrest by the judge after they won an appeal in March 2023 to be freed from prison. The original sentence was to run until April 29th, 2023, however, it was later extended for an additional 30 days before being extended again for 30 days on May 19th, 2023.

Charges filed - June 2023

Tate has recently made headlines as he has been charged in Romania with rape, human trafficking, and leading an organized crime group involved in the sexual exploitation of women. Alongside him, his brother Tristan and two associates have also been charged, although they have all vehemently denied the allegations.
