About Beat Shazam season 6

Beat Shazam is a one-of-a-kind musical competition where the six comeptitors, divided into teams of two, have to guess song names by hearing it's tunes.

The team which identifies the maximum number of songs, winning money with each response, will reach the 5th round, where they have to defeat the Shazam application.

Shazam takes the help of the Billboard Hot 100 music chart to identify songs. The contestants must name the six songs before the application does to win $1,000,000 grand prize. Fox's description of Beat Shazam reads:

"BEAT SHAZAM is an interactive game show that pits teams of two against the clock and each other, as they attempt to identify the biggest hit songs of all time. In the end, the team with the most money banked will outlast the competition and go against Shazam, the world’s most popular song identification app, for the chance to win $1 million dollars."
