In his latest episode of the YouTube show NNN, stand-up comedian and actor Eddie Griffin spoke about the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. In the video uploaded on his channel on January 14, 2025, he addressed the viral conspiracy theory that the city was ablaze to cover up the “p*dophile trail” in Hollywood.
“LA is on fire and a lot of people are saying… it’s to cover up the p*dophile trail and all of a sudden the water ain’t working…” Eddie began.
He further continued:
“Let’s pray for the motherf*ckers out there, the houses is burning down and sh*t unless they p*dophiles. If they p*dophiles, f*ck them. Let that get burned ‘cause I know what you’re doing. You’re burning the evidence up! Sons of b*tches, but we still going to catch it.”
Eddie Griffin claimed that “60 percent” of the water in Los Angeles was owned by The Wonderful Company and blamed them for reportedly being part of the alleged conspiracy.
More about Eddie Griffin’s recent take on the LA wildfires
During his recent insight on the Southern California wildfires, Eddie Griffin claimed how The Wonderful Company is owned by this “husband and wife team” who also own pistachios and Fiji Water.
The Undercover Brother star added that he stopped “drinking” the water and didn’t care if the couple went “broke,” as people’s houses were “burning down” and they were “dying of thirst.”
“The regulators who allowed them… to own the 60 percent of the godd*mn water, fire them… too. What the f*ck is your problem? That is public water. We built the dam that’s holding the water… with taxpayer’s dollars… How you’ll going to sign to over to this godd*mn couple?
Elsewhere, Eddie Griffin asked his viewers to do “research” on who in the “rich neighborhoods” had already “left their houses” ahead of the start of the wildfires, and allegedly knew the blazes were “coming.”
The comedian wondered who in the “state” reportedly turned the “power” of the water pumps off, due to which there was no “water pressure” to seemingly tackle the active fires.
“The irony of it all is that the fire looks just like the fire in Maui. Let’s check all the crip neighborhoods. ‘Cause if the crip neighborhoods are still up ‘cause they blue, we know, we know. I don’t care if you blood, wear blue, play it safe, wear blue, until this sh*t clears up,” Griffin mentioned.
Eddie went on to share how he reportedly heard that over 60 percent of firemen in and around Los Angeles were allegedly “fired” three to six months prior to the wildfires. He claimed that someone must have known something, adding that the State Farm “canceled fire protection” in homes a few months before the brushfires.
“Man wanted to make sure that the houses they wanted burned down, burn down. Google 2028, uh, it’s going to say Los Angeles Smart City. So, uh, the best way to get a smart city is by burning out all the residences and then you can start fresh and build a f*cking smart city,” Griffin added.
The Malcolm & Eddie alum wrapped up by saying how it was allegedly the doing of the government that didn’t care for its residents. He asked who was “tipping” them off about “natural disasters” that were about to happen, further fuelling the conspiracy theories.
Calling them “unnatural disasters,” Eddie Griffin demanded that State Farm pay back all the victims of the wildfires or face the “consequences,” such as the “right to bear arms.”
For those unaware, the wildfires in Los Angeles began on January 7, 2025, with the Palisades Fires which have still not been contained. Meanwhile, multiple other fires including Eaton Fires, Sunset Fires, Lidia Fires, Hurst Fires, and Kenneth Fires among others have also ignited.
So far, the death toll stands at 24 with the numbers expected to rise as many members of the community remain missing. Millions of people have been evacuated, while hundreds of thousands of acres of land have been destroyed.
Some of the widely circulated conspiracy theories surrounding the cause of the wildfires include the SmartLA 2028 initiative, Directed Energy Weapons (DEIs), Mel Gibson’s arson theory, 15-minute city, and the alleged involvement of now-disgraced hip-hop mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
TikTok users have claimed that the fires were deliberately set to reportedly destroy evidence in the ongoing Diddy federal case of s*x trafficking and racketeering.
Netizens have theorized that the blazes were allegedly started to sabotage the “Diddy tunnels,” while others have suggested that it was a way to distract people from finding out about other celebrities seemingly involved in the scandal.
Rumors of Diddy's LA mansion being burned to the ground also emerged online. It has since been debunked.
