Chipotle’s International Strava Challenge: Compete globally for exciting rewards

What is the Chipotle’s International Strava Challenge?

Chipotle’s International Strava Challenge is a fitness competition that invites participants to walk, bike, or run through designated “Chipotle segments” (specific portions of roads and trails) mapped by the Strava community. These segments offer a competitive edge for participants to earn Local Legend Status (LCL), which is awarded to the person who completes the segment most often.

This challenge spans 25 cities worldwide, including New York City, London, Paris, and Toronto. Participants in these cities will have the chance to compete for free Lifestyle Bowls for a year.

To participate in Chipotle’s International Strava Challenge, Strava users can log their fastest times on the Chipotle segments or rack up the most completions to earn Local Legend status. The individual, named "Local Legend" in each city will be rewarded with free Lifestyle Bowls for an entire year.

This year, there’s an added twist: cities will also compete against each other to see who can log the highest collective mileage. The city with the most miles will win a “buy-one-get-one” entrée offer for everyone in the city, valid at participating Chipotle locations.

Chipotle and Strava’s extra incentives: Goals, Gym, Guac

Chipotle isn’t just offering a way to win free Lifestyle Bowls through the Strava challenge. The brand is also launching the “Goals, Gym, Guac” text message community. From now until January 9, one can visit chipotle.com/lsb-text to join the community and receive motivational texts, exclusive content, and chances to snag free Chipotle Lifestyle Bowls.

On January 10, known as "No Quitters Day," Chipotle will offer 50,000 free Lifestyle Bowls to participants. By joining the text message community, individuals will get first dibs on these free bowls, which can be redeemed by following the instructions sent on the day.

Chipotle’s Lifestyle Bowls, a cornerstone of Chipotle’s International Strava Challenge, are a series of menu items created with different dietary preferences in mind. Whether someone is following a keto, Whole30, or high-protein diet, there’s a bowl tailored to their needs. Some of the most popular options include: Balanced Macros Bowl, Veggie Full Bowl, and the Plant-Powered Bowl.

These healthy meals are perfect for those looking to stay on track with their wellness goals while still enjoying Chipotle’s delicious flavors. The bowls can be ordered through the Chipotle app or website.

Chipotle’s International Strava Challenge is a creative way to combine fitness with enticing rewards. With free Lifestyle Bowls, city-wide rewards, and a text community offering added incentives, the challenge offers multiple ways to stay engaged.
