English TV personality and entrepreneur, Cowell has been subjected to death hoaxes twice in 2023. The first was when his ex-girlfriend, Singer Sinitta, received tons of text messages informing her Cowell had passed away in January 2023.

This left her shocked and worried. However, she later debunked the hoax by sharing a statement that read, “There is a terrible joke that Simon Cowell is dead.” She also added, "I'm glad I can laugh about it now, but you truly worried me." Later another death hoax left many worried in August 2023.

This time the rumors of the America’s Got Talent judge’s death were made via a Facebook post. However, the hoax was not given any heed by the netizens and was ignored.
