A short recap of Doom Patrol season 4 episode 10
In episode 10, Cliff, Larry and some others are tired of their lives being constantly misunderstood and want to have some peaceful final moments. Therefore, each is on the lookout for some solution. While Larry digs his grave near the greenhouse to have Keeg live with orchids, Cliff drives down to Florida to see his daughter and grandson. On the other hand, Rama wants to visit Tamil Nadu in India on a boat, and asks Larry to come along, but Larry refuses.
Laura notices a growth on the back of Isabel’s neck that looks like the Chief’s necklace. She draws everyone’s attention to it, suggesting that they get their hands on it to regain longevity, but the others do not take it seriously.
However, Isabel convinces Laura that she wants to tell her story in a show that all members should attend. While Laura fails to convince others to attend Isabel’s show, she shows up and appreciates Isabel. At the end of the show, Isabel decides to be a supervillain and invites Laura to be her sidekick.
On the other side, Butt Hunter encounters the escaped talking Were-butt and countless others. Moreover, a letter from another talking Were-butt, Teddy, asks Nicholas to join him in a revolution. When Nicholas refuses, Teddy turns Dr. Margaret into a Were-butt. Another set of Were-butts try to take revenge on Cliff, Jane and Larry, but Victor uses cybernetics to save them.
Laura uses the confusion to get to the growth on Isabel’s neck but is unsuccessful. When the others land on the scene, Isabel vents her displeasure with everyone. She opens a timestream and pushes them into it.
Doom Patrol season 4 episode 11 will bring more confusion in another space
Doom Patrol season 4 episode 11 is titled Portal Patrol and is likely to have a journey through a portal in the plot. The Were-butts provide a decent level of threat. However, a bigger threat is Isabel Immortus, who has been creating problems for the group throughout the fourth season. So, the team will need to plan a creative method to defeat her.
Moreover, to complicate matters, they would need a smart way to tackle the Were-butts who keep coming in numbers along with the talking Were-butts. However, the “portal” mentioned in the title is the timestream opened by Isabel in the previous episode and will take the team someplace else.
