Nicole Evangeline Lilly, a Canadian actress, and author, was born on August 3, 1979, has been recognized for her outstanding performances in various ways. She has been honored with a Screen Actors Guild Award and an MTV Movie Award and has received several prestigious nominations.

Nicole Evangeline Lilly portrayed Hope van Dyne, the daughter of Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, in the superhero film Ant-Man in 2015. The Hobbit Trilogy
In 2012, Evangeline Lilly was selected to play the part of Tauriel, a Mirkwood elf, in Peter Jackson's adaptation of The Hobbit. The character of Tauriel was not present in the original book by Tolkien but was developed by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh as the leader of the Elven guard.
To prepare for the role, Lilly trained in sword fighting, archery, and the Elvish language. She acted in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).
Real Steel
Lilly played the role of Bailey Tallet in the movie Real Steel in 2011, even though she had refused many other film offers. She decided to take part when director Shawn Levy sent her the script.
