Following Diddy's arrest at a hotel in New York on September 16, 2024, there have been many statements surrounding the rapper, some of which are true and some of which are rumors. One such statement was posted on the Celebrity Moods portal on October 8, 2024, alleging that Willow Smith claims her father, Will Smith, sold her to Diddy.
A link to the article was also posted on Facebook, where it garnered more traction. Additionally, a video discussing similar allegations was posted on YouTube by the Top Celebrities page.
However, there is no proof of Willow Smith making such a statement on any legitimate news platform or any of Willow's social media accounts.
Moreover, the Celebrity Moods website also posted another unverified news piece alleging that Justin Bieber made accusations against Diddy and Meek Mill. Recently, a similar incident involving Will Smith's son, Jaden Smith, came to light, wherein a user on X posted a video of Jaden crying and alleging that Will Smith forced him to participate in activities of a sexual nature with Diddy.
The video turned out to be from February 15, 2023, wherein Jaden Smith got teary-eyed thanking his fans for their appreciation and support, and there was no legitimacy to what the X user claimed.
"I don't know what you're talking about": Diddy responds to Jimmy Kimmel asking if he was going to beat up Will Smith
Amidst the recent controversies surrounding Diddy and pictures of his white parties making rounds on the internet, it has been established that Will Smith and the Last Night rapper have attended multiple events together since the late 1990s.
According to Tribune, the rapper and Will Smith released their debut singles around the same time, with Will Smith debuting in 1997 and Diddy in 1996, after which they were spotted at events like a gathering with Muhammad Ali in 2003.
After the rapper's arrest, past incidents pertaining to his life started doing the rounds. One such incident took place when the rapper appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live in October 2023, and clips of the infamous interview went viral recently.
During the interview, Kimmel said he saw a guy on the internet who happened to be the rapper's security guard. This person claimed that when Diddy was dating Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and Jada tried to talk her into a threesome and that Diddy was going to beat up Will Smith for it. Kimmel then asked the rapper if that was true.
While the rapper appeared to be tongue-tied, he remarked that the show had gotten crazier since the last time he was there. After Jimmy Kimmel nudged him to answer the question again, Diddy said:
“No! No, you really heard that?”
After his response, Kimmel asked if he couldn't believe everything he reads on the internet, to which the Coming Home rapper responded:
"I don't know what you're talking about. Jimmy, I thought we was friends.”
Diddy is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting his trial. Following his arrest, the rapper was charged by a grand jury, and his indictment mentions charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
