Han So-hee continues to assert her strong relationship with Song Hye-kyo to soothe anxious fans as the conjecture around The Price of Confession grows. For those uninitiated, on May 17, Korean media outlets reported that the talented actresses had decided to drop out of the drama owing to irreconcilable creative differences. While the conjecture around the drama and its controversy continues, Han So-hee and Song Hye-kyo continue to dispel rumors of animosity by showing off their strong friendship.

On May 21, Korean model Shin Hyun-ji uploaded a photo of herself with Song Hye-kyo and tagged Han So-hee to let her know that she wasn’t the only admirer of The Glory’s star. “She’s mine”, Shin Hyun-ji wrote to assert her closeness, playfully copying Han So-hee’s previous comment for Song Hye-kyo.

However, Han So-hee did not back down and continued to assert not only her close friendship with Song Hye-kyo but also dispel rumors of a tiff between them.

Han So-hee gets into a playful tiff with model Shin Hyun-ji over Song Hye-kyo

The My Name star has proved that there is no love lost between her and Song Hye-kyo, and despite them not working together anymore, they continue to share great camaraderie with each other. So much so that she got into a playful tiff with model Shin Hyun-ji over Song Hye-kyo.

On May 21, Shin Hyun-ji uploaded some lovely monochrome pictures with The Glory’s star. To show her one-upmanship, she tagged the Nevertheless actor to show that she wasn’t the only one who admired Song Hye-kyo and wrote “She’s mine”.

Not one to take things lying down, the My Name star responded to Shin Hyun-ji and replied by saying:

"I won’t let it happen… No… Then… Then you’re also mine…"

Additionally, she also drew herself in a picture with Song Hye-kyo and Shin Hyun-ji and uploaded the story on her personal Instagram. She tagged herself and wrote:

“Song Hye-kyo, Shin Hyun-ji and me.”

K-drama fans took to social media to react to them asserting her friendship with Song Hye-kyo. Although the Glory star hasn't replied yet, fans are happy to see their heartwarming friendship.

For the unversed, Shin Hyun-ji is one of Korea’s top models and debuted in 2013. She acted in the 2021 K-drama Now, We Are Breaking Up alongside Song Hye-kyo. Also, she is close to actress Lee Ho-jung, who starred alongside Han So-hee in the romantic drama Nevertheless.

Previously, the Nevertheless star dispelled rumors of an alleged rift with Song Hye-kyo by commenting on her Instagram post and writing “Still Mine”. The Descendants of the Sun actress reiterated this to the actress by writing the slang word “Lmfao” and an accompanying heart emoticon, showcasing their long-lasting friendship despite losing the opportunity to star in The Price of Confession with each other.


Han So-hee and Song Hye-kyo versus the production team of The Price of Confession

Han So-hee and Song Hye-kyo were approached to star in Studio Dragon’s mystery-thriller drama The Price of Confession. along It was set to be directed by Descendants of the Sun fame director Lee Eung-bok. However, on May 17, Korean media outlets reported that the actresses and director had pulled out of the drama after long-term discussions and almost-green signals of being cast in it.

Korean media outlet Sports DongA conducted a brief internal inquiry and revealed that the actresses and Lee Eung-bok had an alleged beef over the overseas vertical of the production team of The Price of Confession due to a lack of communication.

The production team failed to take into account the actors' and Lee Eung-bok’s opinions and refused to arrange meetings where both warring parties could reach a common ground via open discussions and conversations.

The original team of actors and the director felt it was best to leave the project, rather than wait for issues to crop up later due to filming. There are no further developments from either the actresses’ side or from Studio Dragon’s side.
