Comedian Katt Williams roasted both disgraced hip-hop mogul Diddy and his lawyer, and the internet went wild. Footage filmed from a phone in a recent Katt Williams comedy was posted online by the prominent X handle, The Art of Dialogue on Saturday, September 28. In the footage, Williams could be heard talking about the baby oil bottles confiscated from FBI raids on Diddy's properties.
Williams made fun of Puff Daddy's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo's quip about the hip-hop mogul buying baby oil in bulk from Costco and claimed that the disgraced record executive put drugs in the baby oil. He also humorously thanked god for giving him eczema so he can't even use baby oil. He claimed that he had the "ashiest a*sholes ever to be seen" in Hollywood.
During his set, the projector behind Katt Williams, even showcased a picture of Johnson's baby oil, as the comedian joked:
"P. Diddy's dumba*s lawyer said, 'He probably got it at Costco'. Costco hit right back 'We don't even sell baby oil'."
Social media users applauded Katt Williams with some claiming that the comedian wasn't wrong about Sean Combs' lawyer. An X (formerly known as Twitter) user named @J__H0pp claimed:
"Man he ain’t lying the lawyer looks dumb as hell,"
Similar reactions followed as a slew of other social media users did not understand how Puffy decided to choose Marc Agnifilo as his lawyer. Many users could not stop laughing at Williams' quips. Here are a few X reactions to Williams' comments:
Although they couldn't stop laughing at his jokes, social media users were dead serious about believing what Katt Williams had to say. One user even joked that Costco did not even want the free promotion.
P. Diddy and his fiasco with Costco
According to a federal indictment filed against Diddy on September 12, authorities claimed that they found over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, along with guns, drugs, and ammo in raids of Diddy's Los Angeles and Miami homes in March. According to People magazine, prosecutors claimed that these were part of the hip-hop mogul's "freak off supplies."
Diddy's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, who is representing the hip-hop mogul in his federal s*x crime charges was interviewed by TMZ for their documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, which was released on Thursday, September 26. When it came to the baby oil, Agnifilo wasn't sure what that had to "do with anything". He said:
"I don’t know what you need 1,000 – one bottle of baby oil goes a long way. I don’t know what you’d even need 1,000 for."
Agnifilo insinuated that Puff Daddy had a "big house" so he bought "in bulk" from Costo. He said:
"I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. Have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?"
However, on Thursday, a representative for Costco released a statement to TMZ revealing that the retailer did not sell baby oil in their United States locations. A quick search on the company's official website also yielded no results for baby oil or even body oil.
Court documents from Puff Daddy's indictment provided a detailed description of what these so-called "Freak off" parties were. The documents read:
"Freak Offs were elaborate and produced s*x performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded,"
According to the documents, Diddy often coerced and manipulated women to participate in these "highly orchestrated performances of s*xual activity" with male s*x workers.
