Peep released his first mix-tape ‘Lil Peep Part One,’ in 2015. He released his debut album online and one of the singles from it 'Beamer Boy' became a huge hit. Later in 2016, the rapper signed a multi-year contract with First Access Entertainment (FAE).

After working on a few more mixtapes, he released his debut studio album in August 2017 which was a commercial success. His albums ‘Come Over When You’re Sober,' and Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 which he recorded with his long-time friend Bexey and Atlanta rapper iLoveMakonnen went viral on the internet.

Peep was very vocal about his sexuality and came out as bisexual. He also often spoke about his mental health and termed himself a loner. His fan not only adored him for his stellar singles and music albums but also for his unique fashion sense.
