Three men were arrested in September 2019 during an investigation into Miller's death. The first one was Cameron James Pettit who allegedly sold the rapper oxycodone pills containing fentanyl two days before his death. Miller had allegedly asked Pettit for Percocet, which is a prescribed painkiller containing oxycodone, in addition to cocaine and Xanax. The next man to be arrested was Ryan Reavis. Reavis is the one who ran the oxycodone pills containing fentanyl to Cameron James Pettit. These drugs were supplied by Stephen Walter, who was the third person to be arrested in the Mac Miller death case.
The three men were charged with the conspiracy and distribution of drugs resulting in death. Reavis was sentenced to 10 years in prison while Walter was sentenced to 171/2 years in prison.
