Fast X has finally been unleashed in theatres and the love it's receiving from fans all across the globe is immeasurable. Creating this action-packed cinematic experience didn't come cheap, as the latest venture is the eighth-most expensive film ever made. The budget of every film of the franchise has seen a considerable surge, with Fast X clocking at $340 million.

To be declared a success at the box office, the film has to earn roughly 2.5 times its budget, which is a minimum of $850 million. While this number looks enormous, the success of previous Fast & Furious movies has proved that impossible is nothing. Moreover, according to Variety, Vin Diesel, who plays the iconic Dominic Toretto in the film, was paid a whopping $20 million.

Fast X actor Vin Diesel's current net worth is $225 million

A recent Variety news article reported that Vin Diesel received $20 million for the 2023 action thriller, which is a massive jump from the first-ever Fast & Furious movie which released in 2001, as the actor only received $2 million.

Diesel, aka Mark Sinclair, is one of the most commercially successful Hollywood actors of all time, some of his movies have hit astronomical box office numbers. He lent his voice to Groot from Avengers: Infinity War, which earned more than $2 billion ($678 million in the USA and more than $1 billion internationally).

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the estimated net worth of the actor as of 2023 is a staggering $225 million.

It was recently confirmed Fast X would receive two more sequels instead of one. During the film's world premiere in Rome, the actor accidentally revealed that a surprise 12th Fast & Furious film was very much on the cards.

Diesel said:

"Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter. And after the studio saw this one, they said, ‘Could you make “Fast X,” the finale, a trilogy?"

His onscreen partner Michelle Rodriguez further added:

"It’s three acts in any story."

When Naz Perez cut right to the chance and asked the onscreen couple if they were indeed confirming whether a third movie was happing, Diesel decided to not answer it but he playfully said:

"You’re gonna get me in trouble here."

The official synopsis of the film reads:

"Fast X, the tenth film in the Fast & Furious Saga, launches the final chapters of one of cinema’s most storied and popular global franchises, now in its third decade and still going strong with the same core cast and characters as when it began. Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path."

It continues:

"Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever. In 2011’s Fast Five, Dom and his crew took out nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and decapitated his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante, witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price."

The film is led by Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jason Momoa, and several others.
