According to Daily Mail, the Amazon founder is planning to tie the knot with his ex-TV news anchor fiancé on the same week as Christmas, Saturday, December 28. An inside source told Daily Mail that that the whole ceremony touted an expected lavishly expensive price of around $600 million.

While Bezos is 60, Sanchez is only 5 years younger at 55. Bezos and Sanchez first went public with their relationship in 2019 on the heels of the Amazon boss's divorce from his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott. After years of dating, the duo engaged in May 2023, when the billionaire popped the question while the couple was aboard his $500 million superyacht.

Earlier this month, on December 19, 2024, Lauren Sanchez celebrated her 55th birthday. The philanthropist took to Instagram to reveal a picture of herself marking the occasion while sporting a black latex bodycon dress. Sanchez was seen marking the occasion alongside a slew of famous faces including pop star Katy Perry, her actor husband Orlando Bloom, and Baby2Baby Co-CEO Kelly Sawyer.

Sanchez's 60-year-old Amazon founder fiancé Jeff Bezos was also present at the event. Bezos captioned his Instagram post of the duo smiling:

"What an incredible year — you set your mind to writing a children’s book and now you’re a NYT best selling author. I have a feeling your next trip around the sun will be just as amazing. Happy birthday, baby!"

As mentioned earlier, the Daily Mail stated in an exclusive report on Sunday, December 22, 2024, that Bezos and Sanchez were all set to tie the knot on Saturday, December 28, 2024. The outlet reported that the couple bought out the Aspen, Colorado sushi restaurant Matsuhisa on December 26, 2024, or the following day. The place could seat a maximum of 180 guests.

As per the report, the official ceremony is rumored to take place at Academy Award-winning actor/director Kevin Costner's 160-acre Dunbar Ranch in Aspen. As per an inside source, the Daily Mail alleged that Bezos had booked top-tier Aspen accommodations for his wedding guests including the five-star St Regis Hotel and various private mansions across the town.

The outlet reported that most of the details surrounding the wedding are being kept under wraps. The couple also reportedly flew in a slew of vendors from across the United States to put together the whole event. The vendors were even reportedly equipped with very strong Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

Lauren Sanchez had previously discussed the wedding during a November 20, 2024, appearence on the Today Show alongside hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie. During her appearance, Sanchez let out a delighted squeal when asked how her wedding planning was going.

Lauren Sanchez recalled her time making grantees and on her book tour for her children's book The Fly Who Flew to Space. The philanthropist conceded at the time that she was finally "getting to" her wedding plans. She said:

"Very excited about it. Thinking about the dress, I do have a Pinterest, I'm just like every other bride,"

Lauren Sanchez recalled how she never thought that at her age, she would become an author and get married. Life was just beginning for her. Back when she was 20, Sanchez thought that her life would be over by 50 but she told the ladies around the world that this was not the case. According to Sanchez, life keeps getting better and this was just the beginning.
