Netflix released Selling Sunset season 6 on Friday, welcoming a new cast member Nicole Young to the show. While she is new to the fans, she is an old employee of The Oppenheim Group office and has worked with Chrishell Stause in the past. In episode 2, Nicole was seen shading Chrishell for an incident from a couple of years ago, where the latter allegedly took credit for Nicole's work, and Jason Oppenheim sided with the actress.

Speaking about the incident to Mary Fitzgerald, Nicole said:

“Jason threatened me. I’m sorry, he did. He tried to fire me if I didn’t keep my mouth shut. Like, that’s the truth.”

Mary advised her to talk to Jason and Chrishell, but Nicole denied it, claiming he would take the side of his ex-girlfriend.

Chrishell Stause felt a cold vibe from Nicole Young in Selling Sunset episode 2

The previous season of Selling Sunset ended with Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim’s break-up. In the latest season 6, she admitted that she was not going to the office and had been working from home since the split.

After she talked to Jason at Emma Hernan’s open house, Chrishell decided to return to her workplace. While all the ladies and the twin Oppenheim brothers welcomed her with open arms, new cast member Nicole Young didn’t look thrilled.

In a confessional, Nicole said:

“Chrishell and I’ve never been close and frankly will never be close because there was a pretty big situation. And I believe Chrishell will do just about anything that will benefit her, or her image, at the end of the day.”

She even rejected ringing the famous Oppenheim office bell which was brought in as a tradition by Chrishell Stause. Throughout the office meeting, Nicole was seen avoiding eye contact with the actress. So, Chrishell later asked Amanza Smith as they were having dinner at a restaurant whether she was reading into something or others also felt a cold vibe from Nicole.

In a confessional, Chrishell addressed the incident that happened between her and Nicole Young. She said:

“A couple years ago, Jason added both Nicole and I onto a listing. And Nicole didn’t think that I deserved any credit when the house sold, because I was a fairly new agent and she felt like she did a lot more work than I did. Even though I did show the house to multiple buyers and I held open houses.”

After Chrishell shared her side of the story, Nicole also explained it to Mary Fitzgerald towards the end of Selling Sunset season 6 episode 2.

The newbie said:

“Jason put Chrishell on my listings because he had a massive crush on her. You’re a new agent, he was trying to help you, but it’s not cool. You don’t take credit for someone else’s work. And yeah, that pissed me the f**k off. At the time, those were my biggest sales.”

Nicole added:

“She [Chrishell] didn’t do any open houses. I did everything. I worked with the buyer’s agent, and I’m the one who got it sold. Jason and I got into very, very heated debates about it, because that’s f***ed up.”

Nicole further stated in her confessional that Chrishell got credit for sales for the work she didn’t do, but Nicole did. The Selling Sunset new cast member didn’t agree with the fact that Chrishell claimed to be the “Queen of Valley” because of the work she started receiving after getting credit on Nicole’s sales.

Nicole also claimed that Jason threatened to fire her if she didn’t keep her mouth shut about the incident.

Viewers can expect a dramatic storyline to play out between Chrishell and Nicole in the later episodes of Selling Sunset season 6. All the episodes are streaming on Netflix.
