More colorways of the Jordan Tatum 1 are being seen on the floor as Jayson Tatum maintains his playoff run with the Boston Celtics. Tatum revealed a player-exclusive Dongdan sneaker for his signature shoe for Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat.

Earlier this year, the widely admired athlete Jayson Tatum unveiled his first signature shoe, Jordan Tatum 1, with the Jordan Brand. After receiving multiple inaugural iterations, fans are now seeing player-exclusive variants like the "Dongdan" rendition.

The Jordan Tatum 1 "Dongdan" PE will most likely remain Jayson Tatum's sole possession and will not be made available to the general public.

Jayson Tatum, the Boston Celtics superstar and Jordan Brand athlete, has been rocking some eye-catching colorways of his signature shoe, the Jordan Tatum 1, on the court. One of the most notable sneakers is the Dongdan PE, which pays homage to the annual streetball tournament in China that attracts thousands of players and spectators.

The majority of the upper is decorated with light purple, which is juxtaposed by darker hues on the TPU overlays on the toe and eyelets. On the tongue tag and around the medial heel, Dongdan emblems are deftly placed. The lateral heel as well as the heel tab continue to sport the standard Jordan branding. High-quality cushioning is provided by the foam midsole, which is strengthened with TPU reinforcements on the toe as well as the midfoot.

These overlays have a lovely pink color with gold speckles, and the white foam has speckles of both gold and purple.

The Jordan Tatum 1 is Jayson Tatum's first signature shoe with the Jordan Brand, who he signed with back in 2019. The shoe is the lightest hoops shoe by the Jumpman, and it combines a mesh knit upper with a stabilizing TPU side cage and Zoom cushioning for comfort and performance.

The shoe also reflects Tatum's personal style and story, with details such as his son's name Deuce on the tongue, his hometown St. Louis on the outsole, and his favorite drink pink lemonade on the sockliner.

The Sunset Dongdan streetball competition is only one of many instances of how basketball has spread internationally and influenced culture. Jordan Brand has been at the forefront of this trend, developing products as well as events that appeal to fans and communities all around the world.

In addition to the themed PE colorway, the shoe label will be widely releasing Air Jordan 5 Low and Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low shoes dedicated to the competition.

It is unlikely that this colorway will release to the public, as it is a player exclusive for Jayson Tatum. However, fans can look forward to other colorways of the Jordan Tatum 1 that will drop throughout 2023, such as the Zoo, Barbershop, St. Louis, Pink Lemonade, and Blueprint editions.

Fans and other interested shoppers can sign up on Nike's website or use the SNKRS app for quick updates on the upcoming colorways of the player's signature silhouette.

The Jordan Tatum 1 is a testament to Jayson Tatum's rise as one of the best players in the NBA and one of the faces of the Jordan Brand.
