Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 24 finale recap:

The focus of this episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was the notorious criminal who ran a r*pe-and-murder-for-hire website. However, at the very start, the team was sent into an endless circle of confusion as they were not getting any leads. Moreover, the site was taken down, and this just added more fuel to their troubles.

Chief McGrath ordered Olivia to solve the open r*pe cases in New York City. He did not bother about the creator of the Shadowërk website and wanted the New York City cases solved by the end of the day. Olivia tried to convince her boss that the Shadowërk creator probably worked in the NYPD, but McGrath had no desire to listen to her.

All New York City r*pe suspects, including Junior Suarez, were summoned to court. Meanwhile, a r*pe victim named Kate was se*ually assaulted by a stranger in town. Fin and Bruno talked to her and figured that it could not have been the same person who had r*ped her previously.

Jet sent a virus into Shadowërk in an attempt to slow down the website. Unfortunately, the creator himself shut the website down. This made Chief McGrath furious, and he blamed Jet for it.

Meanwhile, Rollins had a conversation with Liv about the website. Liv noticed how excited Rollins got while talking about the creator of the website.

It is then revealed that Kate's rapist had also se*ually assaulted a 14-year-old boy and attacked a man in a subway. While attacking the man, the rapist got knifed. When he went to the clinic to attend to his wounds, he was arrested by Bruno and Fin.

Liv and El were having a conversation about some petty issues at their respective homes when they suddenly received footage from Ohio. An IT professional claimed that he was coming to fix their issues.

The FBI, along with Liv and El, noticed that the IT professional was a college kid. By the time the team rushed to arrest him, he had disappeared.

But now the Shadowërk was running at its smoothest, and the most terrifying part was that both Liv and El had targets on their backs.
