The God of Mischief is ready to unravel the mysteries of the multiverse in Loki season 2 episode 2 which will air on Thursday, October 12, 2023. The Asgardian is back for his second innings on Disney+ and will be trying to find the solution to the multiple branching of the timeline.
The endearing protagonist is accompanied by Mobius M. Mobius in his escapades as they search out Sylvie and make a threesome team. A short recap of Loki season 2 episode 1
The first episode introduced the problem and its symptoms for the season and also suggested a solution for it. The plot exposed the protagonist as constantly and uncontrollably time-slipping and being catapulted to the past, present, and future within seconds. Titled Ouroboros, the episode introduced an interesting character called O.B., who advised Mobius to extract Loki from the time stream to stop the issue.
He also reasoned that the death of He Who Remains is behind the time-slipping problem and must be solved from the source. As Loki slips into a future time, he hears a telephone ringing near him and Sylvie looking for him. Before he could react, he was pruned from the future by someone.
After Mobius manages to extract him from the time stream, both of them decide to search out Sylvie by the end of episode 1. However, General Dox has also been looking for Sylvie to know the truth about the TVA branching and sent TVA hunters after Sylvie.
What is expected to happen in Loki season 2 episode 2?
Fans may get a glimpse of the Kang variant, Victor Timely, the long-awaited villain in Loki season 2 episode 2. Even without Jonathan Majors's Timely, Loki has enough on his plate. He needs to find out who pruned him in episode 1, what the telephone ring was about, and where Sylvie is.
Since the credits showed Sylvie trying to place an order at McDonald’s, the fast-food chain may feature again in Loki season 2 episode 2. An image going viral on social media shows Sylvie in her McD dress, with Loki visible in the background.
The storyline of the upcoming episode may also include General Dox, TVA hunters, and Hunter B-15. While villains and adversaries trouble the lead duo, their main concern may still be the crumbling multiverse.
