The RHOA episode began with Marlo Hampton and Sanya Richards-Ross paying a visit to fellow cast member Sheree Whitfield's house. The ladies discussed their fun experience at BravoCon 2022 and also reflected on a few controversial moments during their panel session at the event.
The ladies recalled Kandi's mother Mama Joyce talking badly about her son-in-law Todd Tucker. When asked to say three nice things about him, she threw a dig at him saying he was "still short," which surprised her daughter Kandi, who was sitting right beside her.
Kandi, for her part, sat down with her manager Don Juan and RHOA newcomer Monyetta Shaw-Carter to reflect on her mother's comments. Don expressed that every time the mother-daughter would go on stage, Mama Joyce would take it as an opportunity to throw shade at Todd.
Kandi recalled that she and her mother were a part of the Dynamic Duo panel at BravoCon 2022. During the session, host Andy Cohen asked Kandi to choose between Don Juan and Todd Tucker who she would trust with controlling her money. In response, the housewife chose her manager as she felt that her mother wouldn't have nice things to say about her husband.
The following day, the host asked Mama Joyce about what kind of man she'd want for her daughter. In response, she said:
"I probably would've picked anyone that had a decent job..."
The RHOA star further revealed that Todd got to know about it from a third person and neither Mama Joyce nor Kandi told him anything about it. The housewife expressed that she couldn't care less about what her mother had to say about her husband, but only wanted Mama Joyce to respect their marriage.
