Mark Ruffalo is an actor, director, and environmentalist who was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on November 22, 1967. His parents are Marie Rose (a hairdresser and stylist) and Frank Lawrence Ruffalo Jr. (a construction painter). He has two sisters, Tania and Nicole, and a late brother, Scott. His father is of Italian descent, and his mother is of French, Canadian, and Italian descent. He was raised Catholic and attended both Catholic and progressive schools.
