"She's a computer genius. She saved my life": Trump addressed staffer who made the chart that saved his life
During his campaign rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump talked about how the chart documenting levels of illegal immigration in the U.S. over the years was used at less than 20% of his rallies.
The former President also mentioned that usually, the chart used to be on his left except on the day of the alleged assassination attempt. He said that "it would have been a perfect hit" had the chart been placed on his left side instead of the right.
Moreover, the former President stated that he usually asks the staff to pull up the chart toward the end of his speeches, however, on the day of the alleged attempt he asked for the chart early. Trump said that this move left one of his staffers "flabbergasted" as well.
Acknowledging the staffer who created the chart that saved his life, Donald Trump called the staffer on stage without mentioning her name or revealing it. After the staff member came to the stage, the former President asked her if she wanted to say something into the mic, and she leaned in to say, "Hi."
As the staff member was leaving, Trump mentioned:
“She’s a computer genius. She saved my life.”
Apart from acknowledging the chart that saved his life and the staffer who made it, the former president paid tribute to Corey Comperatore, who was a victim of the shooting during the alleged assassination attempt on him. He asked the rally attendees to observe a moment of silence for Corey.
