“My president is a sh*tposter.” — Internet reacts as Donald Trump wishes Happy Thanksgiving to “radical left lunatics”

American President-elect Donald Trump's Thanksgiving wishes had the internet in stitches. On Thanksgiving day, Thursday, November 28, former and future American President Donald Trump took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving. Amidst all his well wishes, the 2024 presidential election victor also took some shots at his adversaries.

The future president's tweet went viral, racking up over 61.5 million views and 691,000 likes in just one day. The first Republican president to win the popular vote since George W. Bush in 2004, wrote on the platform:

"Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

He added:

"Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!"

A slew of social media users thought that the whole thing was quite funny and called the next American President a "sh*tposter". One X user, who went by @de5imulate, tweeted out:

Donald Trump trolled Joe Biden and Kamala Harris with an AI-generated video

12 hours after putting out his Thanksgiving message for the "radical left", Donald Trump was not done, as he released an AI-generated video trolling the Democratic Party. The video featured an altered scene from the 1989 Chevy-Chase starrer National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

The video began with a family sitting around the dinner table, preparing for the Thanksgiving turkey to be carved. However, instead of the original cast of characters, the people around the table now included Kamala Harris, her husband Douglas Emhoff, Robert F Kennedy Jr, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Jill Biden, and Joe Biden.

Right before carving the turkey, the fake Joe Biden made a statement that the real Joe Biden has said in the past. Biden stated:

"If this turkey tastes as good as it looks, I think we're all in for a very great treat."

However, once the turkey was cut open, a dancing Donald Trump emerged from inside it, showcasing his iconic moves to Village People's Y.M.C.A. This prompted shocked expressions from everyone around the table. Furthermore, on his Instagram handle, the president-elect marked Thanksgiving by sharing a picture of himself alongside border patrol agents.
