NCIS: Hawai'i season 2 episode 22 (finale) recap: Did Tennant and Maggie Shaw manage to kill Adrian Creel this time?
Adrian Creel was still alive when Tennant and Maggie Shaw believe that they had killed him with a car bomb. He went into hiding for a very long time and was being protected by dangerous men. Creel wanted money from them and revenge from Maggie for attempting to kill him instead of giving him a new life as she had promised.
Creel truly believed that he deserved a second chance in life despite being a criminal. He wanted to kill Maggie and knew that to get to her, he had to go through Tennant. But he wasn't aware that the two close friends had a strife. Creel kidnapped Tennant, tortured her, and tried to get information out of her.
But Tennant made sure that Kate was safe and sound. She tied Kate to a post at the hotel. She immediately called Lucy and asked the team to locate the abducted Tennant. Kate then tracked down the car which had held Tennant and killed several guards in the vehicle. Suddenly, Sam Hana appeared and saved the day. He killed the bad guys and rescued Kate and Tennant.
Tennant wanted to rectify the mistake she made. Creel was supposed to be brought to the USA for questioning but the duo attempted to get rid of him once and for all. She finally revealed everything to her close friend Jessie. Creel wanted vengeance and Maggie's life.
Tennant and Maggie again joined forces and lured Creel out in the open but right when Tennant was going to arrest him, Maggie killed him for real this time. She instantly took off after killing him. The team was celebrating Tennant's achievement but we were soon revealed that the danger was still prevalent. It will be introduced to us in the next season of NCIS: Hawai'i.
